1. West Maui Parasail
Do you believe you can fly? Well West Maui Parasail believes that we all can and they have the perfect way to prove it! Enjoy the best view of the West Maui Mountains as well as the islands of Lanai and Molokai from above while a boat pulls you across the blue shades of the sea! With over 200,000 flights since 1985, you won’t want to miss out on this opportunity. West Maui Parasail operates two types of flights with different heights, The 800 and The 1200, between the hours of 7:30 am to 5:00 pm. Depart from Lahaina Harbor or Kaanapali Beach and fly solo, tandem, or even in threes! When making reservations for this Maui adventure, please keep in mind that West Maui Parasail operates for only 7 months out of the year (May 19 through December 14) due to whale season.
2. Jet Ski Maui
Feel the ocean breeze as you ride across the sea with Jet Ski Maui. Voted #1 “Must-Do” water sports activity on Maui for two years in a row, this has to be a part of your Maui vacation “to-do” list. All you have to do is book a reservation and ready, set, go! Look for the red umbrella behind the Hyatt Recency Maui or on the beach outside Whalers Village Shopping Center to start your sporty adventure. Once picked up, enjoy a short boat ride to Jet Ski Maui’s private island where you can stop for some snacks and refreshments. You can also take a look through their floating boutique while you wait to get your gear fitted. Feel free to ride around the designated area once you get your ride, you may even come across pods of dolphin or honu (Hawaiian Green Sea Turtle). Jet Ski Maui even offers the opportunity to defy gravity with flyboarding where you can fly above waters using just a board and a 60 foot hose!
3. Maui Kayak Adventures
Paddle over the shallow waters and the many coral reefs of Oluwalu with Maui Kayak Adventures. From 7:00 am to 10:00 am, tour guides take their guests to witness sea life including honu, Hawaiian monk seal, dolphins, and all sorts of tropical fish hanging out from around the coral reef. During whale season (November – April), guest enjoy stunning sights of whales playing as they spend their time in warmer waters. Your guide will also take you to what is called the “turtle cleaning station” where turtles stop by to have the reef fish clean off the algae from their shells and fins. There is no kayaking experience needed so don’t be afraid, spend some time over one of Maui’s many coral reefs and reserve a tour today!
